Where do you come up with this? Particularly the EU origins of the antichrist?

In the future, I believe in the near future, all nations will gather in the Middle East to wage war. To understand this coming war one must consider all the related verses and synthesis them. Simply stated however, at this point in time, the Anti-Christ (a world ruler known as the Dijal in Islam who will rise to power from the EU) will be ruling most of the earth harshly. Following seven brutal years, which will begin with a peace treaty between Israel and its enemies, the armies of many countries, including China, Russia, parts of Europe and the Muslim Ummah based in Ethiopia, etc. will turn against this global ruler and a world war will result, the main battlefield being the Field of Meggido. To save the remaining Jews, the Messiah will come and fight the armies of the earth in what is known as the War of Armageddon. These armies are "brought" to Jerusalem by the sovereign working out of history as foretold by the prophets of Yah. These coming atrocities are 'God's will' but are a natural course stemming from human events and choices. These events are leading up to the coming of Shiloh, Messiah and his thousand year reign.

This information comes directly from the pages of the Bible. Explaining it in depth would require a book, but in brief...

First, I agree with you that the fulfillment of the prophecies are already under way.

The beginning is near!

Daniel chapter seven discusses the rise of the kingdoms of Babylon, Medo Persia, Greece and Rome.

Of the fourth Kingdom, Rome, Daniel tells us previously (at 2:40-43) that it, the Roman Empire, will crumble into ten ('completion') countries. The Roman Empire crumbled into the nations of Europe as is known.

2:44- tells us that it will be in the days of those "ten kings" that Messiah will come and establish the earthly Kingdom of God.

Back to chapter seven. 7:6 again tells us about Rome. The "ten horns" are the "ten kings" of 2:3. In verse 8, from among the domain of these "10 kings" (ie Europa) the Little Horn will rise. This "little horn" is the Anti-Christ or Dijal, the world leader or Rex Mundi. Thus, the Antichrist will arise from Europe.

Now notice verse 8 a tad later. We read that three of these ten kings will rebel against the Little Horn when he rises but that the Rex Mundi will be successful in establishing his kingdom in their domain (ie in Europa). This today is known as the EU. Thus far the countries of Europa maintain some dwindling autonomy but once the Rex Mundi rises this will partial independence be surrendered as the kingdom of the Beast is solidified in Europe.

The identity of this ruler is confirmed as we look at Rev 13 where John sees the Rex Mundi rise out of the sea of humanity with seven heads and ten horns. While the identity of the ten horns are firmly established by Prophet Daniel (ie Europa and the EU), it is my opinion that the seven heads refer to the seven economic unions currently being established by the NWO (the EU, the North American Union etc).

Hence I am convinced the Antichrist will rise from the EU.

That the Antichrist is the same leader referenced as the Dijal is evident when one reads the Islamic prophecies. Their roles and fundamental activities are virtually identical.

I Thessalonians 5
1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

This references the peace treaty between Israel and its neighbors. When this treaty is signed, then destruction will ordered upon the Jews around the world. This is referenced by Jesus at Matthew 24:15- and Daniel at Dan 9:24-27. The Rex Mundi will order a global Jewish genocide (as referenced in the Islamic scriptures, 'the trees themselves will cry out, "There is a Jew hiding behind me! Come and kill him!").

This desecration takes place when the Rex Mundi rebuilds the Jerusalem Temple (as he must for the Jews to accept that he is their Moshiach). Upon the signing of this peace treaty he will:

II Thess 2:4 ...opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

The Rex Mundi will killed for this blasphemy and rise from the dead:

Rev. 13:12 And he [the false prophet] exerciseth all the power of the first beast [antichrist] before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

When he does this, then Jesus tells those Jews in Jerusalem to flee into the wilderness where they will wait out the Tribulation. It will be to save these Jews that the Messiah will come Matt 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

China and Russia are referenced:

Ezekiel 38 and Zech 12:1-4; 14:1-9; 14-20; 16:12 refers to the invasion by Russia and China. They, along with "the Kingdom of the South" (Dan. 11) (based to the south of Eretz Israel) will gather their forces in the Valley and Megiddo and invade the Jerusalem intending to overthrow the global government (Rev 16:14). This will be the battle of Armageddon.

It is at this time that the Revelation tells us the Moshiach will come (who has a name written that no one knows) and redeem Israel and establish God's Kingdom:

Rev. 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Following this war:

Revelation 20
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Note that those who accept the coming Mark of the Beast (now being previewed today as the RFID chip, the REAL ID program etc) will be excluded from the Kingdom.

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.

As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.

They talked about so many things and various subjects.

When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:

"I don't believe that God exists."

"Why do you say that?" asked the customer. "Well, you just

have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.

Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?

Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there

would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving

God who would allow all of these things."

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want

to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.

Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long,

stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt. The

customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:

"You know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.

"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"

"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would

be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."

"Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me."

"Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!

That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him

for help. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

What's A Poor Sheep To Do?

In my study entitled "Understanding the Sheep and the Goats" (Click Here) I explained that the Sheep are actually powerful representatives of the Ek Devata (the One God). As such they have a very specific raison d'être (reason to exist) in this world.

That reason is to advance the Kingdom of the One on earth. To that end they resist the influences of the "Goats" who seek to counter the advancement of the Kingdom. The service of the Sheep includes things like giving charity, demanding and maintaining justice and so on. Yet good activities are mere outward manifestations of the real calling of the Sheep. In biblical terms their function is as follows:

II Thessalonians 2:
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

What does this mean? Jews throughout the ages have been waiting for the coming of their Moshiach or Messiah. The followers of Master Y'shua hoped, despite the many unfulfilled prophecies, that he would still prove to be the long awaited Moshiach. As I've discussed at various places (for example), the essential role of the Moshiach is to establish global peace by implementing the Kingdom of the One. In this effort the Sheep are on the front lines.

The Jews are the chosen vessels through which the Kingdom will be established, but not for their own sake:

"I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you. In you will all of the families of the earth be blessed."

HaShem, the Ek Devata or One God, is God over all, both Jews and Gentiles. This Being is not only the God of Israel but the God of the whole world and beyond. According to the biblical record, as this present age dawned the first covenants were made with all of mankind, not only with the Jews. These are known as the Seven Noahide Laws (Click here for more on this). In time Abraham and his descendants were selected for a specific task, to lead in the establishment of the Kingdom. The biblical record is the account of God's dealings with this particular body of people.

Why? Because through their efforts all the world will be blessed.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

"The Son of Perdition" is the soon coming Rex Mundi (or "world king"), head of the world government we today know as the New World Order or Novus Ordo Mundi. Note that "that day," the establishment of the Kingdom of God, can not come until after the Rex Mundi rises to power. Of him we read:

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

This is the nature of the Rex Mundi or Antichrist, known by the Muslims as the Dijal and in the Hebrew Tanach as the Little Horn.

5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

This instruction was fundamental to Paul's teachings. It was not simply a side issue for discussion at dinner parties! As I've stated elsewhere, the Bible is fundamentally the Story of Paradise Lost to Paradise Restored. That is the Bible's central message and central to this message is that the Rex Mundi must be resisted throughout our generations. Now that his direct reign is clearly in sight, this instruction has never been more timely.

Those who claim the first century followers of Master Y'shua believed the Kingdom was to be established soon are herein shown to be mistaken. They were waiting for and actively resisting the establishment of the Kingdom of Darkness that they knew would come first. That Kingdom is now being established in our generation as the New World Order, just as Mater Y'shua and others foretold. ”Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?” What were they told? They were given their instructions!

6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

Note that there is something "withholding" or hindering the coming of the Rex Mundi.

This is the role of the Sheep!

Weymouth's has it like this: "And now you know what restrains him, in order that his true character may be revealed at his appointed time."
Even the popular New Age paraphrase the NIV tells us: "And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time."

The message is that an individual will one day reign over a dark global kingdom. That kingdom will exalt itself above God and proclaim a new secular world view. And this is precisely what is now happening.

The Novus Ordo Mundi (New World Order) is the repositioning of the nations of earth into economic unions (the European Union, the North American Union and so on). Once these unions are established the Rex Mundi (world king) will unite the economic unions under his own authority and the Novus Ordo Seclorum (the New Secular Age) will be realized. The Sheep oppose this as they can.

But this move toward world government did not begin with the attacks of September 11, 2001, nor with the Federal Reserve Board in 1913/17, nor yet with the Templars. This battle has raged on since the beginning of our age.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

Note that there exists a movement to increase iniquity and that the goal of this iniquity is the empowering of the Son of Perdition, the Rex Mundi and his New World Order! Who are those wielding this iniquity? They are the Goats, those whose influences the Sheep seeks to counter.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

So here we have it. Two powers: the Sheep and the Goats. The Sheep seek to encourage goodness, the Goats seek to encourage iniquity. The goal of the Sheep then is to "hinder" the powers of darkness. When Goats act, the Sheep react. When Sheep act, the Goats react. This interplay between the groups is the history of our present age. It is the role of the Sheep to stand and resist when evil rises. This struggle, as I say, has been the history of the past 6000 some odd years.

Remember too that the goal of the "Goats" is to increase iniquity and bring in the reign of the Rex Mundi and his Dark Kingdom. Paul tells us clearly in this section that the establishment of this kingdom was not in sight in his day (first century CE) and he warned his hearers of this fact. But one day it would arise!
Today is that day.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

For what cause? For the cause of establishing the reign of the Rex Mundi. In order to achieve this end "strong delusions" would be employed. Strong delusions like "global terrorism?" Strong delusions like arguments against God's existence? Like archaeological findings that draw into question various traditionally held assumptions? Yes and more! And... strong delusions like the powers the Rex Mundi and his false prophet will manifest during his reign according to the Prophets. For instance:

Rev. 13:13 He (the false prophet) performs great signs, even making fire come down out of the sky on the earth in the sight of men.
14 He deceives my own people who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to do in front of the beast [ie in front of the Rex Mundi]; saying to those who dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who had the sword wound and lived.
15 It was given to him to give breath to it, to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as wouldn't worship the image of the beast to be killed.

Signs and wonders! Wonders so amazing that even many of the Sheep may be deceived! As certain as the prophecies that have already been fulfilled, these will be as well. The Sheep are those who stand in opposition.

17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

Even as the darkness descends over the earth, even as our nations fall before the coming king, so too take comfort in knowing these very days were foretold and that in time they too will pass.

This then is the job of the Sheep: To Stand!

Are you a Sheep? Are you a holder of the Light? Then your job is to Stand! Stand against injustice! Stand against racism! Stand again infanticide! Stand against antisemitism! Stand against homophobia! Stand against warmongerism!

There are two kingdoms:
One Light.
One Dark.
There are two camps:
The Sheep and the Goats.

There are those who maintain that only Christians are the Sheep. That only they have the blessing of the One God. But what does Master Y'shua say to the Christian Church of the Last Days?

Rev. 3:15 "I know your works [Christian church], that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot.
16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth.
17 Because you say, `I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing;` and don`t know that you are the wretched one, miserable, poor, blind, and naked;
18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich; and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see.
19 As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.

So who are the Sheep? Master Y'shua continues:

20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.
21 He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne.
22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies."

It's not a question of religion

It's a question of Will and intention.

Micah 6:6 How shall I come before Yahweh, and bow myself before the high God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?
7 Will Yahweh be pleased with thousands of rams, [or] with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my disobedience, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

I guess she feels empowered now that she gets to decide on which group of people have to know their place. In her mind, a "whites only" area is anathema, but a Jew-free neighborhood, town, or country is apparently "just fine".

Understanding the Sheep and the Goats: A Q and A

The following question (from my previous entry on the Sheep and the Goats study) is a very good and important one. I will re-post it along with my reply here:

John, you know how you can easily go back and forth between "the book" and say, the Tao Te Ching (my preferred text). And in this type of comparison it is pretty apparent what the Universal Truths are,
I am wondering where there are supporting texts outside of "the book" for launching off into the New World Order stuff, and the Real ID, yada, yada.
I'm not making any judgements here.
I just think that where all the texts from all the traditions agree, you find a nexus of that which is reliably true. Where they diverge, is where I think we find that which is less reliably true, and therefore less prophetic.
Are there parallel texts supporting all the "end times" doctrines from "the book"?

Good comments that deserve a detailed reply.

The reason I seldom refer to my beliefs as "eclectic" or "interfaith" is that many of my views on these things are my own, which is to say, I am not aware of any groups of people who would agree with me completely (about anything!). I do not seek to be "fair and balanced," although I always seek to be accurate in the material I share. My quest then is not "interfaith" but Truth, wherever IT resides and what IT is.

My AllFaith beliefs come from personal study, from prayer, from asking questions, from meditation, from out-of-the-body Work of various kinds and so on. I do not claim to possess special knowledge etc, I merely express my views with those who are interested and I encourage everyone to do the same. Where we agree, wonderful! When we do not, variety is after all the spice of life! I deeply believe this, even if I do sometimes seem annoyed. hehe.

Now then, most religions/traditions have end time prophecies of some sort. In some cases there are similarities (for instance between the appearance of "Jesus' second coming" and the Visnu avatar Lord Kalki who arrives on a white horse and smites the evil doers with the sword etc.). Some traditions speak of "a coming period of great evil" that will give way to "a period of light" that seems to fit in with the basic notion of the Anti-Christ (Christian), Dijal (Islamic) or Little Horn (Tanach, although not universally Jewish by this interpretation).

So, while there are countless co-existing threads, the direct parallels are not always there. As you say, the most important for Soul development are found in most traditions and those who seek Param-Atman have unlimited offerings to to explore and apply to their personal Quest from all the Great Paths.

When we move into more specific topics however we must tighten our field of source material. For instance, I can learn about "submission to God" from many sources, such as the Qur'an, the Bible, etc. but if I wish to explore the sweet depths of bhakti-yoga (which produces in my opinion a deeper, more intiment level of spiritual submission) I wont look to the Tao te Ching, the Qur'an or the works of Madame Blavatsky. I'll look to the Gaudiya Vaisnavas or to the Sikhs, etc. If you see what I mean. Specialized information generally requires specific sources. This in no way limits the relavancy or dependability of these sources!

Likewise, when we look at the Mayan Calendar Prophecies for example, they speak of the end of a cycle (not the end of the world). The Biblical prophets speak of "the end of the age" (not the end of the world as is sometimes mis-translated). According to the Mayan calender, as we reach 2012 our advancements and our consciousness "speed up" dramatically. The developments that once took us hundreds of years to acheive now take us only six months! As we progressively enter into new periods, we raise to new level of awareness. A major jump in consciousness will occur around 2012 according to these prophecies. And the I-Ching, the Maerlyn prophecies etc. support this basic view.

According to the biblical prophets, as I read them, after the Beast (who is not specifically referenced in the Mayan prophecies) is destroyed, we enter into a 1000 year period of peace and develpment where our consciousness will be expanded beyond anything we currently imagine possible. This Kingdom Period will bring us into a New Age and a New Consciousness known as the New Heaven and the New Earth -- for the former Heaven and the former earth have passed away -- (which I see as a return to the First Age of Satya Yuga. While we could knit-pick at the details of these two prophetic versions, I don't see much fundamental difference here.

Here's what I believe, in a nutshell...

I believe there are eternally revolving cycles of ages (yugas, sankalpas etc). We are currently, by general reckoning, in the fourth and final of these yuga sets known as Kali Yuga.

According to standard post-Vedic calculation, this yuga has about 400,000 years left to go. According to this version, in the later periods of this cycle average lifespans decrease horrifically and righteousness all but vanishes from the face of the earth. It gets so bad that spiritual people must hide in caves to avoid detection by the demonic (world) government. This is almost the exact thing the Qar'an says is going to happen and is suported by other ancient sources as well. Again, one could knit-pick but the basic account is the same.

Master Y'shua (Jesus) said that if the days following the re-establishment of Israel (and the rise of the Beast that soon follows) were not shortened, no flesh would be saved... and here's the important part, "But for the Elect's sake those days will be shortened."

Biblically speaking who are the Elect? Despite certain unbiblical protests to the contrary, they are clearly the Jews.

What is one of the main things the New World Order System has been trying to accomplish since 1913/17 (when the Federal Reserve/NWO usurped the United States government)? Trying to destroy the Jews! The Elect.

Even in 1948 when the US and other countries agreed to the establishment of Israel they refused to defend the decision! According to many reports of the day the West fully expected the Arab Muslims to easily destroy the new country of Israel, thus wiping out a million plus Jews and stopping Zionism dead in its tracts. "At least we tired!" they would have said, "Its not our fault they fell!"

But the One had other plans for the elect!

Why?

Because the ONLY chance we have to avoid 400,000 years of hell on earth is to stand with Israel! This I believe.

As I suggest in the previous study, the "Goats" or Novus Ordo Seclorum side want to establish a global secular reign. Such a reign would result in the realization of the post-Vedic and similar prophecies: 400,000 years of human deprivation and enslavement!

"...but for the Elect's sake those days will be shortened..."

The biblical prophets talk like its a done deal ("calling the things that are not as though they were" is a powerful tool when done wth Knowlege), like the war is already over and the Light Side wins ... but the war continues for now! The Sheep could lose if they don't resist! If the Sheep allow Israel and the Jews to be wiped out we will lose!

In this the Mayan (and similar) prophecies are more accurate in my opinion because they suggest a choice and the need for personal decisions to be made. If we wish, the dark days will come. If we wish, there will be Light. My take on the Mayan and similar prophecies is that they end at 2012 because we, humanity, must make a decision by or near that point. How do we wish to proceed? It is up to us! Will we unite for the Light or the Dark?

It is my belief that following the Kuruksetra War, described in the Mahabharata and highlighted in the Bhagavad Gita, our present Kali Yuga began. The Ek Devata (the One) chose Abraham, basically as described in the Torah, to establish a global Kingdom of Light that could cut this age short. Master Y'shua was one of the historic Masters responsible for furthering the Kingdom along. From the time of Father Abraham a mere (by comparison) 4000 some odd years have past and because of those years over 400,000 years of "hell on earth" can be avoided... IF... we so choose. If not, if we choose the "Dark Side" then the coming King, the New World Order's crowned Rex Mundi (world Ruler) will be enthroned over the word and his reign will not be interrupted as foreseen in the Bible, and we will have nothing to look forward to other than 400,000 years of de-evolution until, in the end, the Holy One will say, "Enough! and send Lord Kalki."

I sincerely believe we are now at the point of Decision.

ALL of the world's religions share light and hope and warning... ALL of them. But because of the charge laid on the Jewish progenitor, Father Abraham, none are as informative ON THIS TOPIC as the biblical prophets.

For enlightenment, for spiritual development, for development of mystic abilities and so on, MANY other religions have more to say than the Bible. The Bible is essentially the Sacred Book of Politics and it has the most accurate prophets by far of any.

The Truth however: This Too Will Pass!

We are eternal beings and the goings on on this little rock we call home are not nearly as important as they now appear to us to be. At the same time though, we ARE here, in this place at this time for a reason... and so our experiences here DO MATTER.

What will we do?

Based on this understanding that, "The Kingdom of Heaven is within you" some people believe the Kingdom of God is only a metaphor for an internal state of meditative awareness, that the Kingdom of the One is synonymous with the idea of Nirvana or the Turiya state of dhyana consciousness and nothing more.

But the Kingdom of the One is much more than a state of consciousness even as Brahman is more than the non-dualist Nirguna or the earthly Saguna planes of existence! Similarly the Kingdom is the soon coming physical (Saguna) manifestation of that inner (Nirguna) realm of consciousness revealed in Oneness wherein the lion will lie down with the lamb and there will be Peace (At-Onement). This Kingdom Consciousness is planted within the Mind of the Sheep for a reason!

Mark 4:30 And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
32 But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

You see this? The Seed that had been placed within the consciousness of the Sheep must be cared for, nurtured and allowed to grow. Then it will be useful for their good purposes! It is not enough to horde one's spiritual insights, to keep the goodness of God to oneself, to lock oneself away in some cloistered monastery (well, OK there is room for that as well, but that's a different topic!)! The Sheep inwardly KNOW that there is a new and better world coming that cannot be compared with the smoke and mirror abomination now being created by the Novus Ordo Seclorum! And they usually have an inner knowing, at some level, that they are called to serve in its establishment!

"Oh no John! Not back to THAT again!"

YES! Because that counterfeit kingdom is an integral part of the blossoming Oneness! Without Yin and Yang there is no Tao!

Since before time and space were,
the Tao is.
It is beyond is and is not.
How do I know this is true?
I look inside myself and see (Tao Te Ching 21)

I look within myself.

And I see...

The kingdom of Heaven!

What is happening in the world today is but a poor reflection of what is transpiring within humanity as a whole! A Master of the One once said, As above so below!

I say, Even so!

It is now coming to be, even as Prophet Daniel foretold that,

... many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

But with this knowledge comes responsibility and choice!
What will we do with this rising sense of our innate inner divinity? In a world where we can call into being that which never before has been...

What will we do? How will we use our burgeoning powers?

Psalm 82:1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked?
3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

Will we arise? Will we Stand? Will we judge among the gods with righteous judgments and dare to imagine the implementation of the Kingdom of the One?

Or will we feint? Will we for false security bend our knees and expose our necks to the Goats in our midsts even now? Will we bow before the Rex Mundi and accept his Mark?

Hear the word of the Prophet!

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Stand!

The Sheep must choose! If the Sheep do not choose the Goats will! As they intend to choose March 01, 2008 with the implementation of the pre-mark system known as REAL ID! The Sheep are being called as active ambassadors, as soldiers, as participants in the establishment of the coming outward manifestation of the Kingdom of God! The Sheep are they who receive the Seed of the Spirit and nurture it in their lives and then, when the timing is correct, they act as they are led by the Spirit!

But perhaps some will say, "The Sheep must be this or that!" Wish such people Godspeed and be about the business of the Kingdom for truly did the Master say:

John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

The Nazarene Master revealed deep spiritual truths for all who were ready to receive them, but he was also an old time prophet of the Hebrews who spoke in detail of the future of his people and of the literal establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth as promised them through Abraham and his spiritual descendants. Both realities are true! Both are intertwined! Both are One!

In order for spiritual Israel to rise, physical Israel must stand! In order for physical Israel stand, spiritual Israel must rise! The Sheep MUST Stand with Israel! The Sheep have the power! Only then will Moshiach will come!

Matt 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

Master Y'shua spoke of the literal fulfillment of the biblical prophecies concerning Israel but he also revealed the necessity of spiritual preparedness and of our involvement in these unfoldings. To understand his mystical teachings without including his literal meanings is not enough. Our view must be deeper, more inclusive than that!

Understand too that even as the Sheep have been furthering the Kingdom of Light, so too the Goats have been hard at work establishing the Kingdom of Lucifer, the Novus Ordo Mundi or New World Order! This is nothing new, but it is now coming to a climax!

The time is fast approaching and now even is when this contest will be resolved one way or another! And the outcome is not set in stone! Else, why would the forces of Lucifer be working so feverishly? They have reason to believe they can win and history appears to be on their side!

But they will not win! The Sheep forbid it!

Whether this conflict will be decided more on the celestial or the terrestrial plane is up to the participants! But the war is now, as it has always been, being fought on both planes of existence. Workers are needed on both planes.

Matthew 9:36 But when he [Master Y'shua] saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

So, what did the Master mean when he said, The Kingdom of God is within you? Consider the context:

Luke 17:20 And when he [Master Y'shua] was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Here then is the verse. The Kingdom of One will not rise as previous kingdoms did, as the result of military might or the signing of diverse treaties. People will not be able to travel to the Kingdom of the One by plane as one might travel to some earthly country and there seek liberation. So when they say go here or go there don't go... Rather the Kingdom of the One will arise within the heart of a prepared humanity, when the Sheep stand firm of Will and manifest the Kingdom outwardly from that place. Then shall Moshiach come! The will the Will of the One be done on earth as it is in the heavens!

But make no mistake, there is another kingdom, a Goat kingdom, a dark kingdom, a kingdom that would enslave humanity given the chance!

According to the Prophets, that Kingdom will arise by military might and the signing of treaties!

Understand too that before the Kingdom of the One is established, the Kingdom of Lucifer will first appear!

John 5:42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.
43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

There are:
Two kingdoms.
One Light.
One Dark.
Two possible futures.
The camps:

The Sheep and the Goats.

It is not a question of religion

It is a question of Will.

Will the Good!

And Stand!

And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold:
Them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice;
And there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

God is One.

As the Sheep act for the good of the Kingdom they are inwardly led, at least for the duration of their service. Being led by the One they are plugged into the Kingdom Consciousness due to their good intentions. Through their actions they are building the Kingdom of God as though one brick at a time. How can these Sheep be described?

They were careful
as someone crossing an iced-over stream.
Alert as a warrior in enemy territory.
Courteous as a guest.
Fluid as melting ice.
Shapable as a block of wood.
Receptive as a valley.
Clear as a glass of water. (Tao Te Ching 15)

When the Sheep are under the direct anointing of the One they act as they are led, they are open to the Spirit. What is the Source of their anointing? Whose voice are they heeding? There is a well known saying of Master Y'shua that, "The Kingdom of God is within you."

Awesome! God lives within the Sheep!

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

Do you hear the Master's voice? From time to time? The Sheep do.

People sometimes ask how I can claim to know for certain that God is real, as if the question is supposed to trip me up! This is how. I don't "believe," I know.

This knowing stems from the Source of the anointing. It simply is what It is. When we seek to define It we lose it. It is Tao. It is the point where all dualities converge into Sweet Oneness...

But... what is Oneness?

In India Master Sankara argued for Advaita, Absolute Oneness, demanding that only Nirguna Brahman (unqualified existence) is real. Saguna Brahman (qualified existence), he taught, is but illusion, a false dream. Hence all that is (or seems to be) is One due to its non-distinctiveness: Tat-Tvam-Asi: I/you/we am THAT.

Conversely, also in India, Master Madhva argued for Dvaita, absolute dualism, demanding that both Saguna Brahman (with qualities) and Nirguna Brahman (without qualities) are both real, but that the two are eternally distinct. Hence literal Oneness is not possible he explained.

But then came to India the gloriously enlightened Master Caitanya Mahaprabhu who expounded the understanding known as Acintya Bheda Abheda, which is to say, the wisdom of inconceivable, simultaneous oneness and diversity.

What does this mean? For our present considerations it reveals that those who hold to absolute oneness and those who hold to absolute diversity are both correct! Mazel tov! The Nature of the One, the Nature of the Spirit, is utterly inconceivable! Reality, existence, is inconceivably both simultaneously One and Diverse! Oy gevalt! Who knew?

This being true, and it is, then those who dwell within the Kingdom are boundless, beyond all limitation! They are free!

How can this be true? It is true because, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." If the Sheep are bound by notions of oneness or diversity, if they believe themselves bound by the physics, by human laws, by education, by gender, by age.... then they are not truly free are they! And yet what does Y'shua say? The Sheep are free!

Are you one of the Sheep?

Can you understand this? Can you grasp this truth? All of the limitations we accept based on our material confinement within these bodies of saguna, these bodies of material form and duality, are lies! Controls! Chains! For those living within the Kingdom of God there is only freedom! Every single limitation we accept is false!

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he -- Prov 23:7a

It is for precisely this reason that Master Y'shua promised those who embrace his teachings will do even greater things than he!

And they are!
Even today!

What does it mean to be righteous?

The word used here is dikaios, a rather broad term. As Strong tells us however, "... in a narrower sense [the word references] rendering to each his due and that in a judicial sense, passing just judgment on others, whether expressed in words or shown by the manner of dealing with them." The point is that those who act from an inner sense of right and wrong, and who choose the good, are considered "righteous." The righteous Sheep are empowered by their faith to act. They are not therefore "sheep for the slaughter" but rather, fighting sheep, so to speak.

We usually think of the dear poor and abused sheep, of the downtrodden masses with their teeming hordes etc... But while such people may be sheep-like in certain ways, they are not the Sheep referenced by Master Y'shua at our base text. Again:

Matthew 25:31 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
32 "All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
33 "And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 "Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

The Sheep in question are actively plugged in to what's going on in the world! They saw the "Lord" poor, hungry and naked and took action to provide for his needs! These righteous Sheep are proactive not reactive! One such example of a righteous Sheep is the so-called good Samaritan who found the man on the road and cared for him. Note that the "nations" will be (are being) brought before the judgment seat and divided right and left (more on this shortly). Nations are powerful, nations are active players. The Sheep then, in the context being discussed here, are not the downcast, but people of genuine faith who actively pursue good and oppose evil.

And these children of the Kingdom are given powers in the execution of their duties:

John 20: 21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Spirit:
23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

All those who truly live within and for the Kingdom of Heaven are worthy and to some degree driven to help establish Kingdom Consciousness on earth. As is written: "Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God."

"Christ" is the "anointing" that has historically been witnessed on the diverse children of the Kingdom since time immemorial. Christ (which is not limited to the one Moshiach) is the divine Power or Will by and through which they act for the furtherance of the Kingdom. This anointing is the same Holy Spirit bequeathed at I John 20:22 above. Those who walk in this anointing are the righteous Sheep. This holy anointing has nothing to do with religious affiliation, race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnic identity, wealth, or any of the other myriad considerations that keep people separated. The Sheep are One, even when this may not appear to be the case. That is because God is more than "this."

For greater understanding on this point we continue with our Matthew 25 text:

40 "And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'

Master Y'shua, speaking as the Kingdom, then turns to the Goats with a stern warning.

So then, from what inner power do the Sheep act? What is the source of their knowing, their anointing? What is the motivation of their righteousness? Why do they act when it would be easier to remain silent and safe? They act from a position of Spiritual/Aware Consciousness, even when they are unaware of it themselves. These spiritual Sheep, if asked, may reply that their actions stem from their faith in Jesus Christ, or Sri Krsna, or inner knowledge, or Guru Nanak and the Sri Guru Granth Sahib, or faith in some prophet or saint (such as perhaps the mystical Saint Padre Pio) ... but the true Source of their inspiration, however defined, is Ruach ha Kodesh, the Spirit of the Living One however that indefinable Spirit is conceived. This is confirmed in the Srimad Bhagavad Gita this way:

Gita 9:22: But those who worship Me with undeviated intent, who have no other object and who are are always yoked in devotion, upon them I confer happiness and carry them through.
9:23: Also those who are devotees of other gods, and who worship them, endowed with faith, they actually worship Me alone.

God is One.

Part One

As of late the term "Sheeple" has been somewhat widely employed on the Internet to reference those who are blindly following and accepting the status quo. These people appear to be almost asleep, they are lukewarm, being neither hot nor cold. These are not the sheep I am referring to here!

Rather, I am thinking specifically of Master Y'shua's prophetic parable of the Sheep and the Goats. By understanding the identity of and distinctions between these two classes of people we can unlock a great mystery and discover our place within the rich blanket of prophecy!

Are you feeling dis-empowered by world events? Then take a stand! There's a lot you can do to make things better! You have the power. You only need to unlock it! It is yours for the taking! In this and the following studies I'll be showing practical ways anyone can empower themselves to Stand for the Kingdom.

So let's begin with the prophecy:

Matthew 25:31 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
32 "All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
33 "And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 "Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

Who are these people?

Matthew 25 is discussing the Kingdom of heaven, "...Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to..." such and such. What is the Kingdom of Heaven? Master Y'shua is here explaining. Without understanding the nature of the Kingdom how will we grasp our roles in it?

As I have often said, the Kingdom is on the verge of blooming forth (once we pass through certain negative experiences). By understanding our rightful positions as children of the Kingdom we will be empowered to act in harmony with the well being of the earth, its inhabitants and our immortal souls (jivatman). This blooming forth of the Kingdom is taking place on many planes of consciousness.

Lately I've been focusing largely on the material realms, on the establishment and security of Israel in particular. There are however deeper understandings to be discovered here as well and it is now time for me to delve more deeply into these, God willing.

Often those who can grasp the truth that life and "reality" exists simultaneously on many different planes of interconnected consciousness and time(lessness) come to believe that this understanding allows them to skip through or ignore the so-called "lower truths." In this we often err as would one who, having mastered higher mathematics might discount basic arithmetic for those who are only now coming up the educational ladder. Arithmetic is the foundation of all mathematics. Likewise the building and soon revelation of the Kingdom of the One must be established on a solid prophetic foundation and Israel is a vital key to what is happening today, both politically and prophetically. Those who reject Israel's prophetic importance seriously err.

Israel is now, as it has been for so much of known human history, the center-point of world events. The 1948 establishment of the nation of Israel and the 1967 re-incorporation of Jerusalem into it is of vital consequence. But for now, let's look beyond that.

According to Master Y'shua, there are two factions engaged in the establishment of the Kingdom. One positively, one negatively. This text hints at the identities of these factions. Of the Sheep the Master explains:

Matthew 25:35 'for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
36 'I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.'

Who is the "I" here? Who was hungry etc?

Here Master Y'shua is speaking in the prophetic voice of the Kingdom. "I" therefore is the Kingdom of heaven. The Sheep are those whose lives nurture the Kingdom, they are righteous among humans.

We continue:

37 "Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?
38 'When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?
39 'Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?'

Note that in many if not most cases, the Sheep have performed their Kingdom duties without knowledge of the higher achievements: When did we... They felt an inner need and moved to satisfy it. Why? Because they were righteous.

I began a road trip at the first of last month as I shared elsewhere on this blog, but had to cancel it. The main purpose of that trip (seeing family and friends in Florida and North Georgia) however seems to have been important for me and so tomorrow I'm off again, this time by plane though.

Obviously I'm no fan of Rep. Dennis Kucinich but hip hip hooray! He is going forward with impeachment of at least one of these demons. If it works maybe we'll have Erik Prince as president of US vice!

Rep. Dennis Kucinich introduced H.Res. 333 in April to impeach Vice President Cheney for his pre-war lies about Iraq and for threatening an invasion of Iran. And thanks to your heroic grassroots efforts, there are 21 co-sponsors.

Speaker Pelosi blocked Judiciary Committee hearings on the bill, but Rep. Kucinich will force a floor vote on Tuesday using his right of personal privilege.

Kucinich's courageous act will put members of the House on record. Are they going to fulfill their oath of office to "defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic"? Or will they support a Vice President whose lies about Iraq cost the lives of nearly 4,000 Americans and possibly $2.4 trillion in our tax dollars - and whose lies about Iran threaten to start World War III?

My confession:


I am a Jew, and every single one of my ancestors was Jewish. And it does not bother me even a little bit when people call those beautiful lit up, bejeweled trees Christmas trees. I don't feel threatened. I don't feel discriminated against. That's what they are: Christmas trees.

It doesn't bother me a bit when people say, 'Merry Christmas' to me. I don't think they are slighting me or getting ready to put me in a ghetto. In fact, I kind of like it. It shows that we are all brothers and sisters celebrating this happy time of year. It doesn't bother me at all that there is a manger scene on display at a key intersection near my beach house in Malibu . If people want a creche, it's just as fine with me as is the Menorah a few hundred yards away.

I don't like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians. I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period. I have no idea where the concept came from that America is an explicitly atheist country. I can't find it in the Constitution and I don't like it being shoved down my throat.

Or maybe I can put it another way: where did the idea come from that we should worship Nick and Jessica and we aren't allowed to worship God as we understand Him? I guess that's a sign that I'm getting old, too. But there are a lot of us who are wondering where Nick and Jessica came from and where the America we knew went to.

In light of the many jokes we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different: This is not intended to be a joke; it's not funny, it's intended to get you thinking.

Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her 'How could God let something like this happen?' (regarding Katrina) Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said, 'I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?'

In light of recent events...terrorists attack, school shootings, etc. I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered, her body found recently) complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK. Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school. The Bible says thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said OK.

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock's son committed suicide). We said an expert should know what he's talking about. And we said OK.

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.'

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says. Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.

Are you laughing?

Funny how when you forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it.

Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.

Pass it on if you think it has merit. If not then just discard it... no one will know you did. But, if you discard this thought process, don't sit back and complain about what bad shape the world is in. My Best Regards.

Jewish GOP donors go for Rudy

I decided a while ago to add my support to Rudy as the least offensive Republican candidate with the best chance of stopping the Clinton's return to power (Click Here). I was therefore happy to receive the following information. Jewish Republicans are moving to support the Mayor's campaign.

We the People need to elect someone who unappologetically supports Israel as well as someone who promises to restore the US Constitution and Bill of Rights. I think Rudy is the best of the poor lot we have to choose between.

As of now I plan to vote for John Edwards in the Democratic primary and then for Rudy in the general, assuming that either Hillary or Sheik Obama wins the Dem. nomination. In the unlikely event that Edwards wins I'll decide then which of them to support.

I do think it's vital however that the Demcratic Party be held accountable somehow for betraying those who voted them into office. The first words out of Nancy Pelosi's mouth was to disavow one of the two main reasons we put the Democrats back in office in the first place: Impeaching Bush and Cheney. The second major reason was to stop the war and not only have the Democrats not done that, they have escalated it! These Democratic traitors need to be held accountable! They need to be fired and replaced!

Anyway... here's the story.

Jewish GOP donors go for Rudy

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is emerging as the clear front-runner among top Republican Jewish activists.

WASHINGTON (JTA) -- Rudy Giuliani is emerging among the Republican presidential candidates as the clear favorite of the party's top Jewish activists.

The former New York City mayor significantly outpaced fellow GOP hopefuls John McCain and Mitt Romney in raising money from the 60 board members of the Republican Jewish Coalition. Giuliani also received the most applause last week at the RJC's candidates forum.

The RJC is widely seen as the party's hub of Jewish involvement, boasting a board that includes top donors and presidential confidants, as well as former White House spokesman Ari Fleischer.

Giuliani, having supported abortion rights and gun control, has amazed many political operatives and pundits with his ability to maintain the lead in national GOP polls, although Romney is the pacesetter in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Some GOP activists say Giuliani's credentials as a two-time mayor of New York and staunch defender of Israel makes him an ideal choice for many Republican Jews.

"I think a lot of New Yorkers like his tough stand on terrorism and his tough stance with regard to Iran getting nukes," said Morrie Amitay, a former executive director of AIPAC and now a vice president at the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs.

According to campaign contribution reports, Giuliani has raised $58,750 from the leaders of the nation's foremost Republican Jewish organization, compared to $35,900 for McCain and $31,200 for Romney. No other GOP candidate has received financial contributions from RJC board members.

Seventeen of the 60 board members gave Giuliani the maximum $4,600 donation allowed for the primary and general election. Many of those same donors gave large sums, though not the maximum, to McCain, a U.S. senator from Arizona, and Romney, a former governor of Massachusetts.

Texas venture capitalist Fred Zeidman was a major donor to President Bush's campaigns in 2000 and 2004, and long has been a McCain supporter. Though he gave the maximum amount to McCain, he also contributed $1,050 to the Giuliani campaign.

"The mayor has governed over New York City, and most of the Jewish population is in New York, Florida and California," said Zeidman, who was appointed by Bush to chair the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Counci.

Zeidman praised Giuliani, but among other issues cited foreign policy experience in saying that McCain was the better choice.

"There's not one thing wrong with Rudy Giuliani's position on Israel, but in John McCain's history you can see that support," he said. "I think we're not picking the lesser of evils. I think we're picking the greater of greats."

Zeidman's son, Jay, a former White House liaison to the Jewish community, worked for McCain until this summer, when the candidate drastically reduced his staff due to budget concerns. The younger Zeidman still plans to vote for McCain.

Another of Bush's former Jewish liaisons, Noam Neusner, worked for Romney's Commonwealth PAC this year. He officially left the campaign, though he remains a supporter.

Neusner penned the speech on Middle East policy that Romney delivered in January at the Herzliya conference, an annual gathering of top leaders of the Israeli security establishment. Romney staked out a hard-line position on confronting Iran.

Still, Neusner said, he isn't surprised that many Repubilcan Jews are backing Giuliani -- at least for now.

"I think what we're seeing in donations is very much a reflection that the great majority of Jewish donors are in the Northeast -- New Jersey and New York," he said. "They've known Giuliani for many years. He's the former mayor of the most Jewish city in the country."

Dr. Ben Chouake, a McCain supporter and the president of NORPAC, a pro-Israel, bipartisan political action committee, echoed the view that geography has helped Giuliani. Despite being a member of the McCain campaign's finance committee, Chouake said he would be equally pleased if Giuliani took the Republican nomination.

Judging from the applause and interviews at the end of the daylong RJC forum last week, rank-and-file members of the group appeared to give Giuliani the edge.

The applause was especially strong when Giuliani reminded Jewish donors of his proven ability to win over voters from both parties.

"I'm the one who can be a coast-to-coast candidate," he said.

His tough talk on Iran also earned long applause.

"I guarantee you," he said, "we will never find out what they will do with nuclear weapons because they're not going to get them."

One audience member, Jeremy Kohn, praised Giuliani for his role in returning a $10 million charitable donation to Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. After touring Ground Zero shortly after the attacks, the prince drew Giuliani's ire by saying that America's support of the State of Israel led to the terrorist strikes.

Giuliani "was the most decisive and toughest. He's not afraid to offend people. He's not afraid to stand up to them," Kohn said. "If we don't realize who our friends are and who our enemies are, then we can't possibly win. If we do have the moral clarity to act on it, we can't possibly lose."

Lynn Newport of Atlanta also decided after the event to back Giuliani, calling him "my favorite."

"He spoke his mind," Newport said. "I think he had an accurate understanding of the problems we face. He was decisive."

Another attendee, Abigail Rosenthal, voiced support for Giuliani. In the morning she had attended a breakfast with the candidates' wives.

"Mrs. Giuliani and Mrs. Romney had the largest pictures of their husbands," she said. "They're intimate with these men and how they praise them is revealing."
