There are two great things happening this week!!!

My short film I directed called "Star Wars Made Me This Way" will make 
its world premiere at VisionFest 08 this Wednesday, August 20th, 7:00PM
during the Video Theater Program in Screening Room 3. Not only are
 there great short films at this event, but they serve lots of free food and 
booze afterwards in the lobby. If you plan on going let me know...

*ABOUT VISIONFEST*

VisionFest is the annual signature event from Filmmakers Alliance, the 
dynamic Los Angeles-based filmmaking collective. The event begins with 
the presentation of the Vision Award to filmmaker Kevin Smith and the 
Nilsson Award to the award's namesake, filmmaker Rob Nilsson. Those 
awards will be preceded by a special Community Vision Award to LA Film 
Forum and the endowment of the Los Angeles Short Filmmaking Grant. It
 is 
followed by a screening of the best short films produced through 
Filmmakers Alliance in the past year and finishes with a spectacular 
celebration catered by some of LA's best restaurants.

Side Effects a short film that I cut for director Chuck Rose is 
screening at the Palm Springs Shortfest this Sunday, August 24, at 
7:30pm. It is part of the Boy Meets Girl short film program. If you are
