I'm not going to respond to these threats here except to say that this is a VERY racist accusation for Obama supporters to make! I will NOT vote for ANY candidate based on his race nor on attempts to guilt me into believing that voting against ANY candidate makes me a racist, a sexists or whatever! These attacks greatly discredit the Obama campaign and his supporters.
Three or four of my long time "contacts" or "friends" have dropped me as a contact over these issues. Marsupial posted a blog trashing me personally. On that blog one of my other long term blog friends posted this:
- ".... though I have had John on my contact list almost as long as you and ... have been there, I deleted and blocked him after this past long post that was full of lies and prejudice. He can no longer inform me since I have seen his true feelings. Not worth my attention."
Here's what Marsupial wrote on his blog:
- "I added this link in reference to John Of All Faiths blog about Obama being muslum. More propaganda smear tactics that some may fall into and even influence others to believe. This is the type of election the Republicans are running on, lies, misinformation, misleading, fear tactics, about this ticket and winning the election on lies and propaganda....
... I personally find John of All faith displaying prejudice, and contradicting his many past blogs. Here is a link the the blog in reference.

People disagree on all sorts of things but as I did on EACH of these posts I invited people to respond with contrary evidence. One person did early this morning. I'll share that info below. But None of the people who are accusing me of spreading lies posted any evidence. They merely insulting me for sharing the information at my disposal.
Insulting people when you can't disprove their points only further divides people. It does nothing to clarify disputed issues. As Washington said in his Farewell Address, this political party infighting is destroying our nation. We are facing what may well be the most important election in US history and NEITHER candidate deserves the job! We need to follow all leads and try and make the best decision based on the candidate not on their political party.
The accusations against me on Marsupial's page, appear to have been based on their false readings of a Snopes article when contrasted to my blog entries.
As I replied there:
- Marsupial,
As for the referenced Snopes link on this blog. The point Snopes is calling false is always the section in the box. On this one they are addressing this question:
"I read that Obama will not release his birth certificate. Have heard rumors it's because he is listed as white. Or that because he isn't a U.S. born citizen."
That's the issue they decided was false: He did not refuse to release the document.
Below the box is usually a section called "Origins" where they explain what was really said etc. with regards to the boxed topic.
Where on my blogs have I posted anything Snopes identifies as "false"? Neither on my blog you referenced here nor anywhere else did I ever say that Obama refused to release his birth certificate, nor that it said he was white. I never said either.
I did mention and referenced the fact, that Hillary's friend Philip Berg currently has a suit before a federal judge challenging the birth certificate. It was filed 5 days before the opening of the DNC Convention. The Snopes page you reference here (http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/birthcertificate.asp) acknowledges the fact of this law suit on the bottom of the page. On my blogs we have discussed this and other Snopes pages.So...
Where am I inaccurate?
Where am I contradicting my previous comments and positions?
Where am I showing prejudice? Is it honestly your position that to oppose this candidate is of itself a racist act? That would be pretty racist! Obama is a candidate for the most powerful job on earth! We the People need to investigate any and all leads to find out who he, just like any other candidate, really is. McCain, like him or not (and I don't!) is a known product, Obama is not.
Only a racist would vote for McCain simply because he is white and only a racist would vote for Obama simply because he is black. To do either would be racist and I'm not a racist.
Based on the facts I have both found and documented on my blogs I have come to certain conclusions. I have also invited everyone to show where I wrong. That invitation still stands.
Again, I NEVER said Obama's birth certificate was false. I never said he was born in Kenya rather than Hawaii. I never said his race was listed as white. I never said he refused to release his birth certificate. And yet they are trashing me for it.
Now, on that same blog smudge77 offered me a link to FactChecker.org to an article called "Born in the U.S.A." That well researched piece looks into the history of the various allegations surrounding Husein Obama birth. They sent people to Chicago to examine the original documents etc. Here is there determination:

Born in the U.S.A.

The truth about Obama's birth certificate.
Summary
In June, the Obama campaign released a digitally scanned image of his birth certificate to quell speculative charges that he might not be a natural-born citizen. But the image prompted more blog-based skepticism about the document's authenticity. And recently, author Jerome Corsi, whose book attacks Obama, said in a TV interview that the birth certificate the campaign has is "fake." We beg to differ. FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship. Claims that the document lacks a raised seal or a signature are false. We have posted high-resolution photographs of the document as "supporting documents" to this article. Our conclusion: Obama was born in the U.S.A. just as he has always said.

The piece goes on to offer lots of information on how they came to their opinion, the various allegations people have made etc. As far as I can tell, they are accurate in their determination. Obama was in all likelihood born in Hawaii as his campaign says.
What I DID say is accurate:
And as far as I know, Philip Berg's lawsuit is still pending.
This information changes nothing about my opinions regarding Obama's candidacy. It shows no inaccurate information on my various points that I have written. I certainly make mistakes. But I see no errors of mine in any of these blogs.
From what I have thus far found:
I believe:
Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961
Hawaii became a state on August 21, 1959 so he is a natural born US citizen as far as I know
Obama was born of a Muslim father, which makes him Muslim according to Sharia Law
Obama listed his religion as Muslim in his Catholic school
Obama's step father was Muslim and raised Obama in the faith to at least some degree.
Obama probably joined the Muslim Brotherhood Project
Obama was helped in his Harvard education by Saud Arabian connections
Obama personally stated in one of his books that, "I will stand with [the Muslims] should the political winds shift in an ugly direction"
I believe these are accurate views. If you have different views, or evidence supporting or opposing these, your comments are encouraged.
Here's a few of my posts on this topic:

You are ALWAYS welcome to disagree with me and to share your reasons on my blogs etc. That's part of why I post them. I only post what I believe to be accurate information.
