In the early hours of the day 2 of our 3 dogs found a very big rattle snake in their pen and killed it. Before dying however the snake bit them both. They are showing classic symptoms of rattlesnake bite and are, even now, on their way to the vet for anti-venom injections. One them looks pretty bad. His muzzle is swollen huge, his throat is tightening up, etc. The other dog has the same symptoms to a lesser degree. The 3rd shows no signs and is the least likely to get into such an event so we don't think he was bit.
Please pray for these dogs to have a speedy recovery.
