Meet the Antichrist Part Nine:
666: The Mark of the Beast

Revelation 13: 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

The False Prophet

A god needs a priesthood to direct the faithful and the Antichrist will have his:

Revelation 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

It is difficult for many people to imagine such a world and yet this world is almost here! We will soon witness the rise of a global leader so terrible in his might and many abuses that he is beast likened to a Beast! Once his rule is established this evil despot will proclaim himself to be the full incarnation of God! Yet he will not be the God of the Bible, the God of the Qur'an, the God of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita or of the Sikh Sri Guru Granth Sahib! The Rex Mundi will be the full incarnation of Lucifer, the ancient dragon god called Devil and Satan.

Even though most people today no longer believe in such a being, being too enlightened to accept ancient myths, they will come to understand the truth that:

My dear brothers, never forget, when you hear the progress of enlightenment vaunted, that the devil's best trick is to persuade you that he doesn't exist!"

Sitting in the holy of holies in the soon to be re-built Hebrew Temple this Luciferian Leader make his blasphemous proclamation:

II Thess. 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

As a result of this blasphemous declaration this Son of Perdition will murdered:

Rev 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

13:12 And he [the false Prophet] exerciseth all the power of the first beast [the Antichrist] before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed

The Rex Mundi, already viewed as a global hero and peace bringer (I Thess 5:3) will be murdered and then rises from the dead on international television! His 'deadly wound will be healed.' Having seen this man establish global peace, end hunger, cure diseases, and now even be risen from the dead, the world will embrace him as the full incarnation of God!

Identity of the False Prophet

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The rise of the Rex Mundi's high priest, the second beast described here, is also known as the False Prophet. His identity will surprise no one. Since even before the Protestant Reformation (1517) people have pointed to the holder of this office as both antichrist and future Antichrist.

As so many ancient priests and prophets, this coming cleric will demonstrate his authority using mighty signs and wonders that will astound the world. Unlike most however, his magic will be real rather than a trick! When this prophet causes rain to fall or draughts to set in he will really be causing these manifestations of power! By the authority of the Dragon God and his master, the Rex Mundi, the False Prophet will prove his power and that of the Beast he serves convincing even the most ardent of skeptics!

The Mark of the Beast

In part to ferret out such 'terrorists' and in part to cut supplies to his enemies, a universal economic system will be put into place by the world government. Of this restrictive economic system we read:

Revelations 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

What this number means has been debated for the last two thousand years and I don't presume to know the answer. We can however deduce a lot from what we do know, especially considering our modern technologies.

As I say, I don't think anyone can say with certainty exactly how this system will work or what the mark itself will be. In the past biblical scholars often thought the Mark would be a tattoo that people would receive after pledging allegiance to Beast and Lucifer. This would certainly work under limited conditions: in order to buy or sell legally one would be required to show the tattoo as a form of loyalty. However those merchants who do not accept the Leader, or those who are simply greedy could simply sell to non-tattooed anyway. Such a tattoo could make buying and selling difficult, but it would not prevent it.

The prophecy says NO ONE could buy or sell. For this reason I have always rejected the idea that the Mark would be merely a tattoo. This has always lead me to believe that while the Time of the End was drawing near there were certain things yet missing. In other words, I thought the time was not right. But, unknown to me for several years, in 1969 (and patented in 1973) the RFID chip was invented. This chip, coupled with ATM technologies, makes it possible for the first time in history for this prophecy to be fulfilled.

Considering such current technologies there now exists efficient technology to number and mark every human on earth and to limit our ability to buy or sell anything. Imagine a world where instead of receiving social security and ATM cards, driver's license cards, medical cards, food stamps, paychecks, credit cards, debit cards, security clearance cards, phone bills, tax bills and so on, a simpler, tamper-proof technology existed. A single card that could handle all of our transactions.

But... surely counterfeiters would have an ID-theft holiday! Cards could never be secure enough!

True! Such a OneCard system would inevitably and quickly lead to a world where people receive a painless implant capable of storing all data about the person. Using GPS technologies this will include global tracking. Many parents have already had their kids implanted with a limited version!

Indeed, like Andy Rooney it appears that people the world over are not only willing to receive such implants, they are asking for it!

An implant is nearly impossible to forge, they don't require annoying and guessable pin-based passwords, thumbprints or other forms of identification to activate and use. They are easy and the Sheeple like easy. There would be no need to carry (and possibly loose) wallets, money, or bank cards, no more need to balance checkbooks and no more bad checks or identity theft. There would be no point in mugging people on the streets because they'd have nothing to steal. Imagine a world where kidnappings ceased because with a flick of switch anyone's whereabouts could be determined within a couple of feet by "trusted authorities." Hospitals would have instant access to medical records in the event of emergencies, knowledge of known allergies and needed medications and contacts would be readily available. The implants would be monitored by the government from "secure locations" where one's privacy would be "absolutely guaranteed." Does this sound like a wonderful fantasy world? To many people today it does! And the technology already exists and is in use in various forms throughout the world to make it happen. The only thing needed is the political will to make it happen and the public willingness to become digitalized.

Both conditions are almost met today! All thanks to 9-11 and the growing awareness and fear of terrorism.

The only catch to the system would be that in order to have the implants activated one has to pledge allegiance to the world government and its leader in the same way Germans and others were required to pledge loyalty to Hitler. Once a person, a business, a corporation or government agency is activated within the system, everything will be controlled and maintained by a central computer system. No fuss, no muss.

Have you ever heard someone say something like this, "If so and so wasn't doing anything wrong, he wouldn't be worried about the government tapping his phone!" Or, "I don't mind the highway checkpoints because I don't have anything to hide." Or perhaps even, "Honest people don't need privacy rights from the government." Such sheep-like conformists will have no problem pledging loyalty and obedience to the coming world government and its leader because they have nothing to hide. Thus in this scenario most people will receive the Mark of the Beast without concern. The others? Well, they're probably "religious fanatics," "political troublemakers" or "terrorists" anyway!

The Image of the Beast

As for how the Mark will be implemented, the prophecy tells us that as part of his service to the Beast the False Prophet will erect a central statue, an Image of the Beast and that those willing to enter into this covenant with the Antichrist will kneel before it and pledge their fidelity.

In our secular culture such public worship and admiration is hard to imagine. Surely Atheists would refuse to bow before such an idol let alone believers in God! And yet, remember what we discussed above. The Rex Mundi will be so honored and hailed as the Prince of the Prince that even those who disbelieve in the Spiritual realities will be happy to bow to this man. Besides, will this situation really be any different from placing one's hand on the Bible before testifying in court or standing at attention and placing one's right hand over one's heart for a patriotic song or reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of one's nation? Not really, it's merely a symbol of loyalty and the majority will accept it willingly enough. Consider what happened to Jehovah's Witnesses in the US, in Nazi Germany and elsewhere when they refused to salute flags and pledge loyalty to the secular rulers. Especially once refusing to do so cuts one off economically.

In all likelihood, the main image will be placed in the Jerusalem headquarters of the Antichrist, possibly in the Temple itself (which will be transformed into the temple of Lucifer), with identical copies being placed in courthouses and similar locations around the world to make pledging as easy as possible. Once one takes the pledge, the implant can be given as easy an flu shot in the right hand. There is nothing far fetched about this scenario. We have the technology today.

It would be much easier than most people think for the world to accept the Mark of the Beast. Would you accept it? Before replying in the negative too quickly, consider that without the mark you will be unable to buy or sell anything, to pay property taxes or rent, to travel anywhere other than on foot, to buy gas, to board a plane, train or bus, to pay for medical care... If you refuse the Mark implant you will become a non-person, a terrorist, an enemy of the state. Would you refuse?

And yet those who receive this Mark, those who pledge loyalty to the Beast and his government:

Revelation 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
