"Praise the Lord and Pass the Kitty Porn" or Government Suppression of the Gospel?

Many years ago I knew Tony Alamo personally and his ministry fairly well.
What is being reported about him I find VERY HARD TO BELIEVE! It LOOKS like a government frame up to me!

While I don't agree with several his fundamentalist Christian beliefs, he is a VERY outspoken defender of one historic element of the Christian faith. He is ALSO a blunt and outspoken critic of what the New World Order is doing. He is ALSO very vocal about the US attack on the Christians of Waco Texas. Is it a coincidence that Hillary was directly indicted in the Waco genocide and now the Bush/Clinton Junta is going after Tony as they prepare to leave office (hopefully)? I can't say and this is my pondering not Tony's (just to be clear).

But this looks like a frame-up to me!

Its been several years since I've had any contact with Tony but this smells VERY fishy!

For information on what's been happening and responses from Tony Alamo ministries see here: http://www.alamoministries.com/false_accusations/falseaccusers.html

Here is Lesia Christopher's Letter defending Tony:

To Whom It May Concern:

I've been in the Tony Alamo Ministries for the last 11 years. I'm here because I want to be here, and my children are here because they want to be here. Tony Lane, a drug addict and woman abuser, has always used people just like he used me before we moved into the church. Tony Lane has never tried to support his children, but only his drug habit. We never were married. We just lived together, and now I'm happily married to a nice Christian man.

Tony Lane has been in and out of jail. He was given an opportunity just as his sister Michelle Ashcraft was, to have a place in the ministry, and they chose to walk out on that chance, and now they want to spread lies and say they are worried about my kids and say that one of the last pictures they saw, Ashley looked like she had a black eye. What picture? I haven't sent him pictures! Prove it!

My children are taken care of and have the best of everything. You haven't sent these children one penny in all these years, and you haven't sent them so much as a birthday card or Christmas card, or anything, For the past 11 years the Tony Alamo Christian Church has always supplied everything, the best of everything, from our living facilities, our clothes, nourishing food, including health food and beauty aids, and most of all our spiritual food for our souls, the Bible. He pays for all hospital and dental bills for everyone and has done so for over 40 years. He is the most spiritual and caring person I've ever met, and my kids say the same thing.

This crack head is talking about saving my children? Save us from what? I want to be saved, by him and the media leaving me, my children, and the church alone. My children and myself are in the most blessed place on earth, the place God has called us. It's like Heaven on earth. My children and myself are happily in the church and away from him for 11 years. He knows where I've been for the last 11 years. Our church has nothing to hide. The doors are always open to those who truly want to serve the Lord, not Tony Alamo or anyone else! There are no chains or bars on or around us!

As far as my 13 year old daughter getting married, that's not true. That's not even on her mind or anyone else's mind that is truly serving the Lord. Tony Alamo will not even allow a marriage like that. She's under age!

Tony Lane should be thankful I made a stand for God or my 13 year old daughter would be doing what he had me doing, which is stripping and working in a topless bar, when I was about her age. This crack head wasn't even there when she was born. He was out smoking crack and living with me, an under age 16 year old girl. Now he's asking for help from anybody that will help him to get my children. He was a roofer, but he's getting up there in years and doesn't want to work anymore and wants to use my children, ages 13, 10, and 9, to do the same things he had me doing when I was barely 16 years old, more than likely committing incest with them and making them work at a topless bar and prostitution. He used the money I made to buy crack and pot. He's the one that needs help, not me or my children. The only one that can help him is God Almighty, if he confesses the lies he has told and repents!

Here's a News Story

Six children seized in US church raid(Source)

Six children have been placed in state custody following a raid on a church compound in the US.
Police raided a church compound in Arkansas.

Six children have been placed in temporary state custody in the wake of a raid on a church compound as part of a child-porn investigation, Arkansas police say.

The children will be under the care of the state Department of Human Services during a series of interviews of church members, said state police spokesman Bill Sadler on Sunday. He didn't say how long the interviews would last.

More than 100 federal and state police raided the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries in the small southwestern Arkansas town of Fouke on Saturday as part of a two-year investigation into child abuse and pornography allegations against convicted tax evader Tony Alamo.

"Should there be any long-term separation of the children from the Alamo property, a local court will make the determination as to the status of those children," Sadler said in a statement.

He did not say how old the children were, but an email that authorities inadvertently sent to media members last week referred to 12-, 13- and 14-year-old girls.

The search ended after midnight and Sadler said officials had no plans to search the buildings again. The group planned to hold its regularly scheduled church services Sunday night in a former grocery store on the 15-acre complex.

Alamo, described by prosecutors in his tax evasion case as a polygamist who preys on girls and women, has denied involvement in pornography.

US Attorney Bob Balfe declined to comment when asked whether an arrest warrant had been issued for Alamo or other members of his church. Balfe said before the raid that he expected a warrant to be issued for the leader.

The raid started an hour before sunset. Armed guards regularly patrol the headquarters, but there was no resistance as agents moved in, state police said.

Social workers interviewed children who live at the complex, which critics call a cult. The investigation involves a law that prohibits the transportation of children across state lines for criminal activity, said Tom Browne, who runs the FBI office in Little Rock.

In a phone call to The Associated Press on Saturday from a friend's house in the Los Angeles area, Alamo denied being involved in pornography.

"We don't go into pornography; nobody in the church is into that," said Alamo. "Where do these allegations stem from? The anti-Christ government. The Catholics don't like me because I have cut their congregation in half. They hate true Christianity."

Alamo and his late wife Susan were street preachers along Hollywood's Sunset Strip in 1966 before forming a commune near Saugus, California. Susan Alamo died of cancer in 1982; Alamo claimed she would be resurrected and kept her body on display for six months while their followers prayed.

In 1988, following a raid near Santa Ana, California, three boys whose mothers were Alamo followers were placed in the custody of their fathers. Justin Miller, then 11, told police that Alamo directed four men to strike him 140 times with a wooden paddle as punishment for minor offences. Alamo was later charged with child abuse but prosecutors dropped the charge, citing a lack of evidence.

Alamo was convicted of tax-related charges in 1994 after the IRS said he owed the government $US7.9 million ($A9.83 million). He served four years in prison.

Prosecutors in the tax case argued before sentencing that Alamo was a flight risk and a polygamist who preyed on married women and girls in his congregation.
