   The Deen and Ummah of Islam
According to the Teachings of al Qur'an
It is possible to take proof texts from most any scripture and make whatever case one wishes to make, in support of the religion or against it. I therefore encourage you to get a copy of al Qur'an and confirm for yourself that I am not misrepresenting the teachings of al Qur'an in these select excerpts. I am also not including the context of every verse as this is intended to be a resource for those who wish to study these things out further. The deen of religion of Islam has a lot going for it. For those who submit to Islam ("islam" means submission) it can be a very beautiful and inspiring faith. I have many Muslim friends and in fact I used to be a Muslim (both a Sufi and later a Wahabi). For those who do not submit to Islam however the deen and ummah ("nation," the political aspect of Islam) and Sharia (the "Laws" of Islam) need to be understood as they can be very harsh. Islam is by far the fastest growing religion on earth and in the United States. This religious shift IS fundamentally altering the face of Western society. The Ummah of Islam and its Sharia is expanding throughout the globe. As Islam is established much of the culture and religions that once existed in the "reverted" lands are being systematically destroyed. A case in point: In 1990 the whole province of Bamyan [Afghanistan] was annexed by Hezb-e-Wahdat (Hazara party)... In May 1997 the Taliban commander Mullah Wahid raised statement that after having held Bamyan city the whole heritage would be blown-up. At that time they did several attacks on Bamyan city. Due to the Taliban bombardments, the conglomerate floor which lies above the great statues arch, had been cracked. After one year, in September 1998 when the Taliban held the Bamyan Valley, they made good on their earlier statments and fired several rockets on the Giant Buddha's statues (8) Even though they were told not to damage these giant statues (a cultural and historical heritage of human being specially the people of Afghanistan) by the secretary General of UNO an other well known world leaders. No doubt that no one can deny the importance of this human grand civilization, which is considered to be the level of Egyptian civilization. But Unfortunately the Taliban is trying to ruin this human heritage on fanatic and prejudicial basis because it is beloved that the two Giant Buddha's where built and growthed Bamyan civilization by the Hazaras. Bamyan known a capital city of Hazarajat and having known as a heritage of Hazaras, Taliban representative of fanatic Pushtun historic and racial enemy of Hazaras are trying to destroy this human heritage on the basis of racial and religious prejudices -- Source If you support this, be or become a Muslim but if your, like me, do not support, then resist it! One final word about politics. While the ummah is a very serious threat to the cultures, freedoms and religions of the world it is so in large part because it is being manipulated by the Aryan-based New World Order. Al Qur'an: The Book of Peace 1:1 -- YUSUFALI: In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 002.006 -- YUSUFALI: As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe. 002.008 -- YUSUFALI: Of the people there are some who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day;" but they do not (really) believe.
002.009 -- YUSUFALI: Fain would they deceive Allah and those who believe, but they only deceive themselves, and realise (it) not!
002.010 -- YUSUFALI: In their hearts is a disease; and Allah has increased their disease: And grievous is the penalty they (incur), because they are false (to themselves).
[i.e.: There are no "moderate Muslims" only real and false ones] 002.024 -- PICKTHAL: And if ye do it not - and ye can never do it - then guard yourselves against the Fire prepared for disbelievers, whose fuel is of men and stones. 002.039 -- SHAKIR: And (as to) those who disbelieve in and reject My communications, they are the inmates of the fire, in it they shall abide. 002.085 -- ... Believe ye in part of the Scripture and disbelieve ye in part thereof? And what is the reward of those who do so save ignominy in the life of the world, and on the Day of Resurrection they will be consigned to the most grievous doom. For Allah is not unaware of what ye do. 002.090 -- PICKTHAL: Evil is that for which they sell their souls: that they should disbelieve in that which Allah hath revealed, grudging that Allah should reveal of His bounty unto whom He will of His slaves. They have incurred anger upon anger. For disbelievers is a shameful doom. 002.096 -- SHAKIR: And you will most certainly find them [Jews] the greediest of men for life (greedier) than even those who are polytheists; every one of them loves that he should be granted a life of a thousand years, and his being granted a long life will in no way remove him further off from the chastisement, and Allah sees what they do. 002.098 -- YUSUFALI: Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and messengers, to Gabriel and Michael,- Lo! Allah is an enemy to those who reject Faith. 002.099 -- YUSUFALI: We have sent down to thee Manifest Signs (ayat); and none reject them but those who are perverse. 002.104 -- YUSUFALI: O ye of Faith! Say not (to the Messenger) words of ambiguous import, but words of respect; and hearken (to him): To those without Faith is a grievous punishment. 002.112 -- YUSUFALI: Nay,-whoever submits His whole self to Allah and is a doer of good,- He will get his reward with his Lord; on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
002.113 -- YUSUFALI: The Jews say: "The Christians have naught (to stand) upon; and the Christians say: "The Jews have naught (To stand) upon." Yet they (Profess to) study the (same) Book. Like unto their word is what those say who know not; but Allah will judge between them in their quarrel on the Day of Judgment.
002.114 -- YUSUFALI: And who is more unjust than he who forbids that in places for the worship of Allah, Allah's name should be celebrated?-whose zeal is (in fact) to ruin them? It was not fitting that such should themselves enter them except in fear. For them there is nothing but disgrace in this world, and in the world to come, an exceeding torment.
002.115 -- YUSUFALI: To Allah belong the east and the West: Whithersoever ye turn, there is the presence of Allah. For Allah is all-Pervading, all-Knowing.
002.116 -- YUSUFALI: They say: "Allah hath begotten a son" :Glory be to Him.-Nay, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: everything renders worship to Him. 002.120 -- SHAKIR: And the Jews will not be pleased with you, nor the Christians until you follow their religion. Say: Surely Allah's guidance, that is the (true) guidance. And if you follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to you, you shall have no guardian from Allah, nor any helper. [i.e. Allah does not accept the Jews and Christians -- this disproves a common belief that Muslims accept all three faith] 002.124 -- YUSUFALI: And remember that Abraham was tried by his Lord with certain commands, which he fulfilled: He said: "I will make thee an Imam to the Nations." He pleaded: "And also (Imams) from my offspring!" He answered: "But My Promise is not within the reach of evil-doers."
002.125 -- YUSUFALI: Remember We made the House [i.e. the Ka'aba in Mecca] a place of assembly for men and a place of safety; and take ye the station of Abraham as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with Abraham and Isma'il, that they should sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer). [ie God made a covenant with Abraham but condemned his descendants through Sarah as "evildoers." The covenant only exist through Ishmael and thence Islam. Jews are all "evildoers."] 002.127 -- YUSUFALI: And remember Abraham and Isma'il raised the foundations of the House [i.e. al Ka'aba] (With this prayer): "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: For Thou art the All-Hearing, the All-knowing.
002.128 -- YUSUFALI: "Our Lord! make of us Muslims, bowing to Thy (Will), and of our progeny a people Muslim, bowing to Thy (will); and show us our place for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us (in Mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.
002.129 -- YUSUFALI: "Our Lord! send amongst them a Messenger [i.e. the Nabi: Prophet Muhammad -- SAW] of their own, who shall rehearse Thy Signs to them and instruct them in scripture and wisdom, and sanctify them: For Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
002.130 -- YUSUFALI: And who turns away from the religion of Abraham [i.e. Islam] but such as debase their souls with folly? Him We chose and rendered pure in this world: And he will be in the Hereafter in the ranks of the Righteous. 002.132 -- YUSUFALI: And this was the legacy that Abraham left to his sons, and so did Jacob; "Oh my sons! Allah hath chosen the Faith for you; then die not except in the Faith of Islam." 002.161 -- YUSUFALI: Those who reject Faith [i.e. Islam], and die rejecting,- on them is Allah's curse, and the curse of angels, and of all mankind; 002.163 -- YUSUFALI: And your Allah is One Allah: There is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 002.165 -- YUSUFALI: Yet there are men who take (for worship) others besides Allah, as equal (with Allah): They love them as they should love Allah. But those of Faith are overflowing in their love for Allah. If only the unrighteous could see, behold, they would see the penalty: that to Allah belongs all power, and Allah will strongly enforce the penalty.
002.166 YUSUFALI: Then would those who are followed clear themselves of those who follow (them) : They would see the penalty, and all relations between them would be cut off.
002.167 -- YUSUFALI: And those who followed would say: "If only We had one more chance, We would clear ourselves of them, as they have cleared themselves of us." Thus will Allah show them (The fruits of) their deeds as (nothing but) regrets. Nor will there be a way for them out of the Fire. 002.175 -- PICKTHAL: Those are they who purchase error at the price of guidance, and torment at the price of pardon. How constant are they in their strife to reach the Fire!
002.176 -- PICKTHAL: That is because Allah hath revealed the Scripture with the truth. Lo! those who find (a cause of) disagreement in the Scripture are in open schism. [i.e. those who study the scriptures and disagree with them or the standard interpretation of the Muslims are doomed. Absolutely submission is the requirement] 002.190 -- YUSUFALI: Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors.
002.191 YUSUFALI: And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith.
002.192 -- YUSUFALI: But if they cease, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
002.193 -- YUSUFALI: And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah; but if they cease, Let there be no hostility except to those who practise oppression. [i.e. fight those who refuse to submit to Islam until they are dead or until the revert to Islam] 002.213 -- YUSUFALI: Mankind was one single nation ["ummah"], and Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book [Torah] in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book [the Jews], after the clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy. Allah by His Grace Guided the believers [the Muslims] to the Truth, concerning that wherein they [the Jews] differed. For Allah guided whom He will to a path that is straight [i.e. Islam]. 002.216 -- YUSUFALI: Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.
002.217 -- YUSUFALI: ... Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter. Nor will they [the Jews] cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can. And if any of you Turn back from their faith and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life and in the Hereafter; they will be companions of the Fire and will abide therein.
002.218 -- YUSUFALI: Those who believed and those who suffered exile and fought (and strove and struggled) in the path of Allah,- they have the hope of the Mercy of Allah: And Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. [i.e. you may not like jihad but Allah knows best and commands you to kill -- in context here -- the Jews. Do so so and you will be blessed and gain entrance to Paradise] 002.256 -- YUSUFALI: Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.
002.257 -- YUSUFALI: Allah is the Protector of those who have faith: from the depths of darkness He will lead them forth into light. Of those who reject faith the patrons are the evil ones: from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (For ever). 003.004 -- YUSUFALI: Then those who reject Faith in the Signs of Allah will suffer the severest penalty, and Allah is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retribution. 003.012 -- YUSUFALI: Say to those who reject Faith: "Soon will ye be vanquished and gathered together to Hell,-an evil bed indeed (to lie on)! 003.085 -- YUSUFALI: If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).
003.086 -- YUSUFALI: How shall Allah Guide those who reject Faith after they accepted it and bore witness that the Messenger was true and that Clear Signs had come unto them? but Allah guides not a people unjust.
003.087 -- YUSUFALI: Of such the reward is that on them (rests) the curse of Allah, of His angels, and of all mankind;-
003.088 -- YUSUFALI: In that will they dwell; nor will their penalty be lightened, nor respite be (their lot);- 003.090 -- YUSUFALI: But those who reject Faith after they accepted it, and then go on adding to their defiance of Faith,- never will their repentance be accepted; for they are those who have (of set purpose) gone astray.
003.091 -- YUSUFALI: As to those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- never would be accepted from any such as much gold as the earth contains, though they should offer it for ransom. For such is (in store) a penalty grievous, and they will find no helpers. 003.131 -- YUSUFALI: Fear the Fire, which is repaired for those who reject Faith:
003.132 -- YUSUFALI: And obey Allah and the Messenger; that ye may obtain mercy. 003.151 -- YUSUFALI: Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority: their abode will be the Fire: And evil is the home of the wrong-doers! |
