There is an "Obama Rumors" album that is absolutely inaccurate.

1. "State officials have said they have the original birth certificate confirming Obama was born there"
Truth: ONE Obama supporter who works for the state of Hawaii said this. He has yet to unseal his COLB (certificate of live birth: Why?)

2. Just because his hand is over his heart in this photo does not change the fact that it was not in the other one.

3. False. The tape of Michael saying "whitey" was posted and has now "disappeared".

4. Flat out lie. Obama and Farrakhan have a long history. Obama publicly turned his back on Minister Farrakhan (Rev. Wright and others) as Tagiyya or permitted deception as confirmed by Kaddafi and others:

5. This photo proves nothing other than the fact that he DOES have Muslim ties in Kenya where he felt inclined to dress way. So I more or less agree with them on this one.

6. "Rumor: Obama attended a Muslim madrassa school as a child in Indonesia, where he lived for four years.
Response: "SDN Menteng 1 is a public primary school that is open to people of all faiths," a spokesman said, adding that Obama studied earlier at Fransiskus Assisi, a Catholic school."

Flat out lie! The PUBLIC school was run through the Catholic Church AND by law had to have a madrasa for Muslim students to attend. Obama's school papers show he was Muslim at the time and so by Indonesian law he HAD TO attend the madrasa.
A confusion comes from thre word "madrasa." Some madrasas are more "radicalized" than others and it APPEARS this one was fairly "moderate" by Muslim standards HOWEVER the cariculum WAS Muslim-based.

7. Rumor: Obama had ties to Islam through his father.
Response: "My father never practiced [Islam]; he was basically agnostic," Obama said. "So, other than my name and the fact that I lived in a populous Muslim country for four years when I was a child, I have very little connection to the Islamic religion."

This is basically a lie.
By Islamic law if ones father is Muslim one is Muslim. From what we know Obama's father was a whore monger, a drug addict and a political fascist. He was not, it appears, a devout Muslim as much of his lifestyle is condemned by Islam. BUT according to Sharia Obama is STILL a born-Muslim. When he attended Madrasa in Indonesia he was registered as a Muslim:

Question number 4 is religion and Islam is listed.

Clearly AOL is yet again being used as a political tool BUT this DOES give us another chance to demand finally he prove his place of birth. So....

'The Birthers' Continue to Hound Obama

AOL filed under: Political News, The Obama Presidency

(March 1) - Ever since Barack Obama became a prominent political fixture in the country, he has encountered a large number of rumors and smears concerning him and his family. There was the one rumor about him being a secret Muslim (he is a practicing Christian). And there was the one allegation his wife, Michelle, was caught on videotape using the word "whitey" (no such clip has ever surfaced). Most of the charges were, for the most part, put to rest by vigorous responses from the Obama team during the campaign. But one conspiracy theory lives on -- despite overwhelming evidence debunking it. Politico.com reports that the Birthers -- a persistent group of conservatives who believe Obama is ineligible to be president because of alleged questions surrounding his birth status -- continue to operate and thrive on the fringe. A young Barack Obama plays ball in Hawaii. State officials have said they have the original birth certificate confirming Obama was born there, but that hasn't stopped rumors questioning his eligibility to be president based on his birth status. Click through the gallery for other rumors that dogged Obama during his presidential campaign."Some individuals and groups who are opposed to Obama's presidency want an 'acceptable' reason to cite to convince other individuals and groups who might be on the fence to join in their way of thinking," said Patricia Turner, who studies rumors at the University of California, Davis.

For the record, officials in Hawaii declared last October that there was no doubt Obama was born in the state. Officials verified that the health department holds the commander in chief's original birth certificate.
But others are still undeterred. A lawsuit filed in California by a group called the United States Justice Foundation seeks records from Occidental College, where Obama attended school for a period, in order to verify his nationality -- and thus his presidential eligibility, WorldNetDaily reports.
Get the full story about the Birthers at Politico.com to find out about the group's possible impact on the White House and weigh in, below, on the controversy.

The Birth Certificate That Wouldn't Die

Via that most untrusted name in news, World Net Daily, comes word of an uprising:

A U.S. soldier on active duty in Iraq has called President Obama an "impostor" in a statement which he affirmed plans to join as plaintiff a challenge to Obama's eligibility to be commander-in-chief.

The statement was publicized by California attorney Orly Taitz who, along with her Defend Our Freedom Foundation, is working on a series of legal cases to uncover Obama's birth records and other documents that would reveal whether he meets the requirements of the U.S. Constitution.

Here we go again. Like the best conspiracy theories, the "controversy" about whether or not Barack Obama was actually born in Kenya, not Hawaii, and, therefore may not technically be eligible to hold the office of the presidency, has a life of its own outside the realm of what one might flippantly term "factual evidence." For those convinced of the veracity of the claim-that Obama's true birthplace has been covered up, any new investigation into the matter is sure to be rigged, so that when documents like copies of the certificate are produced, they are instantly decried as forgeries. When state health examiners respond to inquiries and, with accompanying witnesses, lay hands on the actual document itself, the claim is that the eyewitnesses are lying. When a 1961 birth announcement, found in two Hawaii newspapers, is produced, it is claimed that the grandparents, too, were in on the plot.

The bar is forever raised by the doubter to the point where only first-hand, empirical proof will suffice. In other words, unless a time machine is suddenly invented, enabling the skeptics to travel back and actually witness Obama's Hawai'i birth (or JFK's murder, or the moon landing), then, hey, you never know.

On February 21, 2009, Alan Keyes question Obama's constitutional right to serve as President. "Is he president of the United States?" Keyes asked the reporter of Obama. "According to the Constitution, in order to be eligible for president you have to be a natural born citizen. He has refused to provide proof."
